Cubs – School years 4-6

The Cub section is for children who are in Years 4-6 at primary school. (Approx 8 to 11 years old)

They meet weekly at their Scout Hall and take part in all sorts of cool activities.

As a Cub you will:

  • have lots of fun taking part in awesome activities like outdoor adventures, camping, bushwalking, outdoor cooking, expeditions, helping your Community, play games and making lots of friends.
  • have the chance to earn Personal Challenge Badges like Swimming, Hobbies, Pet Keeper, Scientist and Fishing, and each year of Cubs you can work towards the Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards.
  • be able to work towards the premier Outdoor Adventure Award.

Meeting Times

Cubs meet on Thursday evenings, from 6 pm until 7:30 pm, during school terms and during the summer there are occasional weekend activities. Cubs also take part in some weekend activities, such as:

  • A weekend camp (or overnight stay) per term
  • Occasional sailing/kayaking events.

There is a waiting list for cubs currently.
